Another tulip study in watercolor on gesso treated drawing paper (size 44 x 31cm). I will soon try to mix acrylics with watercolor or maybe exclusively acrylics depending on the result.(the surface here is white although my picture here looks grey, sorry for the bad quality.)

I new I would have some time to kill and weather was pleasant sunday, I had brought my painting kit and I thought I better do at least even a tiny study or two. So I did these ones, about the light on a group of buildings. I always want a better result and do more, but lately I try to keep cool and be happy with whatever the day can offer. I have to get out on the spot more often, now when spring is slowly but surely coming to us...

The other day I found a few new sea shells, they are like small jewelry to me. I also found lovely egyptian hand made glasses. These new tiny sea shells fitted fine into my new green translucent glass, looking fresh like spring. Yes, spring is in the air of Paris these days. Very warming for the soul.
